Rosemary Zangara
The artwork of Rosemary Zangara has been exhibited throughout the State of New Jersey. She has been a resident of Manville, New Jersey for more than 50 years and has been painting with watercolors for over 20 years.
Rosemary has had several shows at the Manville Public Library, and has also participated in art shows at the Somerset County Library, the Bridgewater Municipal Building, Lamington Presbyterian Church, the Children's Specialized Hospital, Middlesex county College, the Montgomery Cultural Arts Center, and at the Somerset Art Association and, most recently at the Jewish Community Center in Bridgewater.
She specializes in watercolor landscapes and still life scenes on paper and clayboard. She often creates paintings from photos taken on vacation in places like Hawaii, Alaska, Virginia, Bermuda, and Nashville, Tenn. She also enjoys painting portraits of family pets.
Rosemary has taken classes with various artists including Ludlow Thorston, Robert Heyer, and other artists at Somerset Art Association in Bedminster, NJ. Also, most recently with Steve Zazenski.
She is a member of the Somerset Art Association and the Raritan Valley Arts Association, for which she has been Recording Secretary for the past 8 years.
