All current RVAA members are welcome to participate in the show. Up to 2 original works will be accepted. Accepted media includes oil, pastel, watercolor, collage, acrylic. Works may not exceed 40 inches in any direction. All artwork must be securely framed and wired for hanging.
ORIGINAL WORKS ACCEPTED (up to 2)
Entries will not be juried. However, a community favorite will be voted for during the reception where a certificate will be presented.
FEE: $10.00 for one submission, $15.00 for two submissions
RECEIVING:
Artwork is to be brought by the artist to the library on Monday, November 2, 2009
between 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
RECEPTION:
Sunday, November 8, 2009 from 2:00 pm until 4:00 pm. At the library
AWARDS:
Community favorite will be voted for during the reception and a certificate will be presented.
PICKUP OF ARTWORK:
Artwork must be picked up by the artist on Monday, November 30, 2009 between
10:00 and 12:00 noon.
SOLD WORKS:
Any artwork that is sold is to remain hanging until the show is over. Sold works may be picked up during the take-down of the show. Proper identification must be presented in order to pick up sold work(and for unsold work for that matter). Sales tax is responsibility of the artist. The Bernardsville Library generally receives 10% of the proceeds resulting from the sales during the show. All checks will be made payable to the artist.
